Tonya Olsen
PRINCIPAL AND LEAD DESIGNER
With a determined yet relaxed approach, Tonya is as talented as she is accomplished.
A transplant from the Midwest, she earned her master’s degree in Interior Architecture from Utah State University. In addition, Tonya secured her well-honed aesthetic chops as the former partner of a boutique design firm and as a senior designer for Barclay Butera Interiors.
Beyond making things look pretty, Tonya sets herself apart with an extensive understanding of the construction process. Whether it’s drafting in CAD or working hand-in-hand with builders, Tonya’s knowledge manifests itself in everything that she designs.
Tonya has most notably left her creative mark in developments throughout Utah including Red Ledges, Promontory, Victory Ranch, and Glenwild. Over the years, she has designed multiple Parade and Showcase homes, and her projects can be found from coast to coast.
Tonya has been featured in numerous publications and has authored two books on interior design.
Tonya draws inspiration from so many talented designers that it’s hard to narrow it down. Ann Marie Barton, Denton House Design, Abby Hetherington, and Robert G. McArthur are just a few. Her favorite architects include Eric Olsen Design, Reid Smith Architects, and Wade Design Architects.
ALISHA DIXON
Designer
Alisha brings a thoughtful approach to interior design with her creative inclination and attention to detail. Armed with a degree in interior design from Salt Lake Community College and paired with experience selecting finishes for multiple area home builders, Alisha is a catalog of knowledge when it comes to interior design.
Alisha’s favorite designers include Andrea West Design, Jessica Bennett (Alice Lane), and Jaimee Rose Interiors.
LESLIE MINSON
junior Designer
Leslie’s left-brain acumen perfectly balances her right-brain brilliance. In other words, this girl’s got it all. She’s our behind-the-scenes CAD machine and at the same time, she’s our on-the-scene idea engine. Leslie helps our team translate complex design details to our builders at the same time she communicates the creative vision to our clients. As an interior design graduate from Ensign College with experience in the furniture and design world, Leslie and her knowledge fit so perfectly with our team.
Leslie’s favorite designers include Rita Chan Interiors, Jean Stoffer Design, Polken Studio, and Trickle Creek Designer Homes.
ASPEN CROCKETT
junior Designer
As a current student of interior design at Ensign College, Aspen’s love of all things design is as illuminating as her sunny disposition. Aspen is in the throes of color theory, CAD drafting, space planning, and problem-solving. In addition, her real-world experience working for an award-winning design showroom is the perfect complement to our team. Aspen is bursting with energy for her craft and brings a euphoric spirit to everything she does.
Designers that inspire Aspen include Jake Arnold, Liz Kamarul, The Black Goose Design, and Kelly Wearstler.
As a self-proclaimed jack-of-all-trades, Sarah brings her unparalleled work ethic to Olsen Home Interior Design. Her background in everything from criminal justice to holistic health adds a degree of diverse expertise to our team.
Sarah places orders, communicates with vendors, tracks each and every item and arranges delivery, just to name a few items on her never ending to-do list. Sarah helps keeps our office operational and our clients content.

Numbers and spreadsheets make this gal tick. Not only does Janell spend her time keeping track of our financial doings, she also teaches others how to do the same as an Accounting teacher at Juab High School in Nephi. Ever since Janell strolled through our door with the exact set of skills we desperately needed, she has kept her pencil sharp and our numbers on point. Janell’s patient and thorough approach are among her highest assets, which is why Janell deserves an A+.
